Clinical Group Nursing Student Orientation

Nursing students (including WCH employees) who are attending nursing clinicals at WCH are required to complete several elements of orientation, which are listed below and repeated with greater detail on this page.

Orientation Requirements

First time to WCH?

Complete the WCH Orientation Module
Submit orientation documentation for these modules to your school or clinical faculty based on your school’s directions.
Print and sign the Student Orientation Attestation Form attesting that you have completed the orientation, are familiar with the content, and agree to the confidentiality statements. Bring the form to your clinical instructor.
Complete the WCH Basic Computer Access and Use Module
Complete the Freestyle Precision Pro Education Module

Returning within the current academic school year?

This applies if you are returning between August 1 and July 31 of the same academic school year.

Print and sign the Student Orientation Attestation Form attesting that you completed the orientation modules within the current academic year, are familiar with the content, and agree to the confidentiality statements.
This completes your requirements.

Returning outside the current academic school year?

This applies if your last WCH orientation was not within the current academic school year of August 1 through July 31.

Complete the WCH Orientation Module

Student Parking

Specific areas have been designated for patients and visitors to increase their convenience. Please park in the designated student areas at WCH shown on the map. All students should enter through the Emergency Department entrance only.
