Expert Care for Every Athlete
Our physicians are fellowship-trained in sports medicine and trauma, providing expert evaluation and treatment for a full range of sports-related injuries. We offer the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques — including ACL repair and arthroscopy — in a state-of-the-art surgery center, supported by advanced radiology and rehabilitation facilities.
Sports medicine services are available at both of our locations.
Our orthopedic team specializes in sports medicine, joint replacement and spine surgery. If you require comprehensive surgery or trauma care, Wood County Advanced Orthopedics can provide the full-scale support you need.

Sports Medicine for More Than Athletes
You don't have to be a competitive athlete to benefit from sports medicine care.
Our providers treat:
- Active adults
- Walkers and runners
- Youth athletes
- High school athletes
- College athletes
- Workers with activity-related injuries
- Pickleball and golf injuries
- Weekend warriors
- Anyone experiencing joint, muscle or tendon pain
This is one of the biggest missed opportunities on most sports medicine pages. People often think sports medicine is only for athletes, when in reality a large percentage of patients are active adults trying to stay mobile and avoid surgery.
Sports medicine is about more than sports
Whether you're dealing with joint pain, a nagging injury or simply want to stay active, this podcast explores how sports medicine can help people of all ages move better, recover faster and stay healthy.
