Clinical Group Nursing Student Orientation

Nursing students, including WCH employees, who are attending nursing clinicals at WCH must complete several orientation requirements. The requirements are summarized below and explained in greater detail on this page.

Orientation Requirements

First Time to WCH?

Complete all of the following requirements:

Complete the WCH Orientation Module
Submit orientation documentation to your school or clinical faculty based on your school’s directions
Print and sign the Student Orientation Attestation Form attesting that you completed the orientation, are familiar with the content and agree to the confidentiality statements. Bring the completed form to your clinical instructor.
Complete the WCH Basic Computer Access and Use Module
Complete the Freestyle Precision Pro Education Module

Returning Within the Current Academic School Year?

The current academic school year runs from August 1 through July 31.

Print and sign the Student Orientation Attestation Form attesting that you completed the orientation modules within the current academic year, are familiar with the content and agree to the confidentiality statements
This completes your requirements

Returning Outside the Current Academic School Year?

Follow these requirements if your last WCH orientation was not completed during the current academic school year of August 1 through July 31.

Complete the WCH Orientation Module
Submit orientation documentation to your school or clinical faculty based on your school’s directions
Print and sign the Student Orientation Attestation Form attesting that you completed the orientation, are familiar with the content and agree to the confidentiality statements
Complete the WCH Basic Computer Access and Use Module

Specific areas have been designated for patients and visitors to increase their convenience. Please park in the designated student areas at WCH shown on the map. All students should enter through the Emergency Department entrance only.
