 How to get started with your health record account

Get started today by enrolling in MyHealthRecord when you next visit Wood County Hospital for a service. Currently, registration requires an in-person visit to a Wood County Hospital location for security purposes. Please be sure to bring along your photo ID. After registering to become a participant, you’ll receive an email requesting your confirmation and the opportunity to create a secure, individualized, personal login.

How do I sign up to use MyHealthRecord?

Discuss the registration process with a Registration Representative at your next visit to Wood County Hospital. For your security, you must sign up in person to activate your MyHealthRecord account.

Who can sign up for MyHealthRecord?

Adults, 18 years and over, are eligible to set up an account.

Can I enroll my spouse or another family member in MyHealthRecord?

To maintain HIPPA compliance, each patient will need to enroll in person.

How or where do I access MyHealthRecord?

Once you have an account set up, you can access MyHealthRecord online at woodcountyhospital.org.

Is my information secure?

Yes, MyHealthRecord is HIPPA compliant and provides you with the ability to securely view your health information.

What information can I access?

Using your secure password, you can view your upcoming appointment details, lab results within 36 hours after the test is complete view hospital discharge documents, current and active mediations, allergies, and past medical procedures.

What Results Can I See on MyHealthRecord?

Most clinical results may be viewed from anywhere there is internet access. Certain test results such as HIV, STD, or cancer-related conditions, as well as Pathology, Microbiology, Blood Bank and Radiology reports are not provided in MyHealthRecord. Results are released automatically at 36 hours following the completion of the test.

How far back can I access my information?

Medical information prior to Dec 5, 2011 is stored in your electronic medical record, but may not be available in MyHealthRecord.

Why is Cerner referenced on the website?

Cerner is the company we have partnered with to manage your electronic medical record information. MyHealthRecord is a customized Cerner system that provides you with a view into your electronic medical record.

What if I didn’t receive my invitation email or forgot to accept the invitation before the deadline?

If you have forgotten your e-mail address and answer to your security question, you will need to come to any WCH Registration desk for assistance.
