Breastfeeding and Lactation

Certified Lactation Specialists are available at no charge, in person or by phone. Call (419) 373-7665 to schedule.

A free monthly breastfeeding support group meets the second Thursday of every month in the hospital Guild Room, 6–7 p.m.

Breastfeeding pumps for home use are available through Hart Medical Equipment: (419) 352-7021.

Wood County Hospital is one of seven sites in Ohio offering free lab draws to screen potential breast milk donors for the OhioHealth Mothers' Milk Bank. To learn more, call (614) 566-0630 or email milkbank@ohiohealth.com.
