For participants of most fitness levels, Deep Water Workout offers individuals a total body workout without impact on joints.  Exercises promote the use of all muscles to improve body alignment, strength and toning, awareness of proper movement and core control.  A flotation belt is used for safety and support.  Additional equipment may be incorporated as needed for more advanced workouts.  No swim skills are required to participate.

Class Full

Children Ages 2.5 to 4 years will have the opportunity to learn or review water adjustment skills including breath control, supported floating on back and front, kicking and arm paddling.  In addition, children will explore basic swim strokes, swim to safety, and also begin underwater swimming.  Safety on deck and in the water is included in each lesson.  Developmental milestones related to swim skills are discussed as part of the water program.
