Our benefit programs represent a significant investment to provide our employees and their families with comprehensive protection and security. The programs are made possible by Wood County Hospital’s success which is, and will continue to be, the direct result of our employee efforts, service and dedication. Some benefits are available to all employees, while some have eligibility requirements based on length of service or the number of hours an employee works.

Medical Insurance – Comprehensive major medical coverage is available to employees and their eligible dependents.

Dental Insurance – Delta Dental is a preventative dental plan that includes orthodontia benefits.

Vision Insurance – Vision insurance helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses for exams, frames, and lenses.

Disability – Both Short-term and Long-term Disability programs are provided.

Retirement Plan – Wood County Hospital sponsors a 403(b) program and will provide a 50% match on the first 4% of pay that an employee contributes to the plan on a pre-tax basis.

Cash Balance Pension Plan - This retirement plan is fully-funded by the hospital. Benefits are paid based upon an employee's age, length of service and annual base compensation.
