Wood County Hospital President Stan Korducki Announces Retirement After 30 Years

After 30 years of dedicated service and leadership, Wood County Hospital President Stan Korducki will step down from his role effective December 31, 2026. Tom Bialorucki, currently Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, will officially become President of Wood County Hospital on January 1, 2027.

For three decades, Korducki has remained focused on a simple but important commitment: ensuring that the people of Wood County and the surrounding communities have access to exceptional healthcare close to home.

“Serving Wood County Hospital and this community for the past 30 years has been one of the greatest privileges of my life,” Korducki said. “I am incredibly proud of what our physicians, employees, volunteers and supporters have accomplished together, and I am excited for the future. Tom brings extensive healthcare leadership experience through his work within a health system, as a consultant and with an international company. He is a respected, proven leader committed to building on our strong foundation, and I look forward to seeing him lead Wood County Hospital into the future.”

That future will be led by Bialorucki, who has been with Wood County Hospital for the past seven years and has worked closely with Korducki as a member of the hospital’s executive leadership team.

Korducki looks forward to seeing Bialorucki lead Wood County Hospital, bringing his extensive healthcare experience to the healthcare challenges and opportunities ahead. Working alongside the medical staff, Bialorucki will focus on expanding opportunities for growth and ensure the hospital remains a vital, independent healthcare resource for the community.

“Stan’s leadership has had a tremendous impact on Wood County Hospital and the community we serve, and the Board is deeply grateful for his vision, dedication and commitment to exceptional local healthcare,” said Mike Fatzinger. “Tom has worked closely alongside Stan and the Board, and we have seen firsthand the leadership, experience and commitment he brings to Wood County Hospital. We have great confidence in Tom and know he will continue to build on the strong foundation that has been established.”

To help ensure a seamless transition, Korducki will serve as President Emeritus for a brief period following Bialorucki’s appointment. In that role, Korducki will remain available as a resource to Bialorucki and the organization, providing continuity during the transition while Bialorucki assumes leadership as President.
