Wood County Hospital welcomes Dr. Patrick Siparsky

Wood County Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Patrick Siparsky, who will officially join the Advanced Orthopaedics team on June 1, 2025.

Dr. Siparsky comes to Wood County Hospital from Indiana University Health, where he served as Division Head of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He also spent six years at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he served as a team physician and educator.

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Siparsky specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. He has extensive experience treating athletes and active individuals of all ages, with particular expertise in ACL injuries, meniscus and cartilage repair, rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability. He also provides care for overuse and repetitive stress injuries often related to the workplace.

Dr. Siparsky completed his orthopedic surgery residency in San Francisco, followed by a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at Duke University, where he cared for Division I athletes across a range of sports. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

A former northwest Ohio resident, Dr. Siparsky is excited to return with his wife, Andrea—a Toledo native—their two children and their dogs, Duke and Rosie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, traveling and watching or playing sports.
