Wood County Hospital Earns 2026 Healthgrades® Awards
Wood County Hospital now ranks among the Top 5% in the nation for patient experience.
For the fifth consecutive year, WCH has been named a recipient of the Healthgrades® Outstanding Patient Experience Award™. During that time, the hospital has demonstrated continued improvement, being recognized among the Top 15% of hospitals nationwide for five years, advancing to the Top 10% for the past three years and reaching the Top 5% in the nation in 2026.
WCH was also recognized with the Healthgrades® Patient Safety Excellence Award™, highlighting its strong performance in preventing complications and delivering safe, high-quality care. In addition, the hospital earned a Five-Star rating for heart failure treatment, demonstrating strong clinical outcomes in a critical service area.
