Introducing Michaela Hull, DO, to Falcon Health Sports Medicine & Orthopedics

Welcome Dr. Michaela Hull, DO to Falcon Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.

Dr. Hull is a family medicine physician with specialized fellowship training in sports medicine. She provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, from children and college students to parents and grandparents. Whether she's helping patients stay healthy through preventive care, managing chronic conditions or treating an injury, Dr. Hull believes the best care starts with building lasting relationships.

"A lot of times you build the relationships through the family practice," Dr. Hull said. "I want to be able to do the annual screenings and the annual wellness exam so that when you get sick or when you injure yourself, we already have that relationship."

That continuity of care is what drew Dr. Hull to family medicine. She enjoys caring for entire families and building relationships that span generations. Rather than needing one provider as a child, another as an adult and someone different when an injury occurs, patients can turn to a physician who gets to know them over time and provides comprehensive care through every stage of life.

A graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Hull completed her family medicine residency at Ascension Resurrection Hospital in Chicago before pursuing fellowship training in sports medicine at The University of Toledo. She also earned a master's degree in medical physiology from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor's degree in pre-medical preparation and exercise science from Ball State University, where she competed as a Division I student-athlete on the women's track and field team.

In addition to providing comprehensive family medicine, Dr. Hull offers advanced expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions. She performs ultrasound-guided procedures, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and regenerative musculoskeletal therapies when appropriate, giving patients access to specialized care for joint, muscle and tendon conditions while continuing to serve as their primary care physician.

"I truly do believe preventative medicine is the best medicine. Exercise and staying healthy play a big role."

Dr. Hull is accepting new patients for family medicine and sports medicine care at Falcon Health Center. Call 419-372-2271 to make your appointment.
