*Attention patients with employer-sponsored insurance through Bon Secours Mercy Health: Wood County Hospital is not covered under your health plan.
**Wood County Hospital participates in most Medical Mutual commercial plans except for the MedFlex Network.
Please note: there are plans offered in the area that do not include a network of contracted providers and elect to pay rendering providers based on a standard index rate – often Medicare. As these plans do not have an agreement with Wood County Hospital to accept the rates they have unilaterally set, patients presenting with an ID card for such a plan will be registered as self-pay.
* Wood County Hospital is in-network with the Perennial Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP). However, Wood County Hospital is out-of-network with the Perennial Advantage HMO-POS plan.
**Wood County Hospital is in-network with United Healthcare/AARP Medicare Advantage plans. However, Wood County Hospital does not participate in the AARP Medicare Select Plans, which are Medicare supplement plans with a limited network of providers.
***Effective 1/1/2022, Wood County Hospital is no longer participating with Wellcare (formerly Meridian Health Plan). Wood County Hospital continues to be in-network with Wellcare by Allwell plans, which are offered by Buckeye Health Plan. If the logo on your health insurance card states “Wellcare by Allwell” specifically, Wood County Hospital is in-network. If it only states “Wellcare,” Wood County Hospital is out-of-network.
