Know Your Numbers Health Screenings

Join the Wood County Hospital Wellness Department and get your New Year off to a healthy start by participating a series of health screenings as part of its "Know Your Numbers" series. The series includes blood pressure checks; height, weight and body mass index; and fasting total cholesterol.

Diabetes Interest Group
Diabetes Education | February 09, 2012 | 12:00 pm - 01:00 pmThe Diabetes Interest Group at Wood County Hospital meets monthly to discuss current topics about diabetes. The meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, September through May in the hospital meeting rooms. The meetings are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about diabetes.. Come early and participants can purchase a $2.00 meal ticket that is worth $4.50 in the hospital cafeteria.

Prerequisites: *Proficient in BLS and knowledgeable in EKG interpretation. *Reveiw and understand course material prior to entering class
