Abeer Ahmed, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Ahmed was born and educated in Cairo, Egypt, raised in Kuwait and has called Northwest Ohio her home since 2005. She completed her medical schooling, internship and residency at Ain Shams University Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. After moving to Michigan, Dr. Ahmed worked in the Department of OB/GYN at the University of Michigan and completed an OB/GYN residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint where she served as chief resident. Dr. Ahmed practiced in Bellevue, Ohio for six years prior to joining Wood County Women's Care. Ian Leggat, M.D., MRCOG
An experienced physician with more than 20 years in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Leggat is committed to providing comprehensive gynecologic and obstetric care for women of all ages. Prior to his joining Wood County Women's Care, Dr. Leggat was in private practice in Canada and then West Virginia. A native of Scotland, Dr. Leggat received his medical education at Glasgow University, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Megan E. Porter, D.O., FACOOG
An Ohio native, Dr. Porter is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio and joined Wood County Women's Care in 2010. Dr. Porter provides the full scope of gynecologic and obstetric care for adolescents through post menopausal women. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and adolescent gynecology. Mary C. Testa, D.O., FACOOG
Mary Testa, DO, is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist. She received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and before joining the practice of Wood County Women's Care in March 2012, Dr. Testa was in practice in Newark, Ohio. "I enjoy playing a role in the happy times of my patients and their families," says Dr. Testa. "I look forward to caring for my patients in Wood County and helping them attain their healthcare goals. Marcia Amstutz, CRNP, MSN, Nurse Practitioner
Marcia Amstutz has been a part of Wood County Women's Care since 1992. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bowling Green State University in 1974 and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Michigan in 1988. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Marcia provides obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages, in-office evaluation of common gynecologic problems, as well as gynecologic procedures including colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD and Implanon/Nexplanon insertion.
